Bar Louie - Gainesville: A Dining Experience to Remember

We had an absolutely amazing experience at Bar Louie, all thanks to our phenomenal server, Savannah. From start to finish, she made us feel welcomed, and completely taken care of. Savannah was the perfect combination of friendly, professional, and attentive. Her positive energy made the whole evening better than we could’ve hoped for. It's rare to find someone who elevates a night out just by being themselves, but Savannah did exactly that. If you're visiting Bar Louie, do yourself a favor and ask for Savannah—she’s a total rockstar. We’ll definitely be coming back, and she’s a big reason why! 10/10 — Highly recommend!

Bar Louie has some of the best burgers I have ever had. I loved going here when I lived in Virginia. I tried a lot of different things on their menu and everything was always so good. It isn't too busy most of the time which is nice and it's in a great location. Staff was always friendly as well.

We had a really good time here. The bartender was very nice and we had good seats at the bar. Of course I got started with my "old fashioned" drink and some appetizers. The old-fashioned was solid, but my loaded tots were so delicious! I highly recommend them! I ordered the salmon sliders as well. "Magical" is how I would describe those sliders! They were made with some type of sauce on them that was most excellent! Actually they were so amazing that the lady beside me ordered the sliders as well after drooling over my food with her eyes. Lastly, we ordered the lemon pepper wings and they were crispy and flavorful. How could you complain about that? Overall, we enjoyed our entire dining experience! That's hard to say these days! Although part of a chain, this bar offers friendly and personal service, a sophisticated atmosphere with a variety of comfortable seating options and some really tasty drink and food options. There is a daily happy hour specialty menu in addition to the regular drinks, beers on tap and a pretty good wine list. My group tried a couple of the 90s flashback specialty drinks (blue Hawaii and sex on the beach) as well as some happy hour specials. Everything was very good. Highly recommend the truffle fries and the chicken tenders with both the bbq and Thai sauces.

Showed up 30mins before my party and was served immediately. Rachel was attentive, sweet, and funny. Sam took over after her shift - smoothest transition ever! Mandy checking in on us was so appreciated and it’s obvious she cares for her staff! Absolutely recommend apps, drinks, AND dinner before popping across the street to catch a movie at Regal!

Our bar tender AJ was the best! She was so kind, professional, and made really good drinks for us! She always goes above and beyond everytime we go there.
